Photoshop has been the industry leading image editing suite for years. More about Photoshop 13.0.4 update for CS6Photoshop 13.0.4 update for CS6 is available for users with the operating system Mac OS X and previous versions, and you can download it only in English. The program version is not available and its last update happened on 2/13/2013. Since we added this program to our catalog in 2013, it has already reached 171,276 downloads, and last week it achieved 241 downloads.
About the download, Photoshop 13.0.4 update for CS6 is a not that heavy software that will not require as much free space than most programs in the category Design & Photography. I'm nearing retirement, and am taking on a few projects before I'm done. Tops I'll have them done within the year, so I don't want to invest a ton of time in learning/getting used to new stuff that's not necessary. I own Adobe's Master Collection CS6 for Mac. I stopped doing Adobe stuff when it didn't work anymore, not realizing at the time that Apple and Adobe were working together to force us to upgrade to the subscription model and how stuff did/didn't work with certain versions of Mac, etc. At that point I was beyond furious, having spent about $6,000 on the Master Suite for BOTH Macs and PC's for my office and suddenly I needed to start spending on a subscription. I tried to use the subscription model recently, and was blown away with the BS of the "Cloud" junk, constant downloads and updates and stuff running in the background, helper apps, fans turning on constantly (2017 iMac Pro w/ a zillion GB of RAM, etc...) and slowing everything down, and I still can't believe this is their "new and better" option.
What I plan to do is top out the RAM and SSD of whatever Mac I have that can run Adobe's CS6, and use it off line, with all updates turned off, etc. I will do my InDesign and PhotoShop projects on there (with Mac's Time Machine for my backup insurance) and doing it all offline and doing just pretty basic outline and photo touchup stuff with InDesign and PhotoShop. I never needed anything complicated and fancy. Has anyone else done something like this? Will I have any issues that you can foresee? I have no use for Cloud connecting (I prefer to not have it actually) and everything I'd be doing is offline anyway. Do all the "End of Life" and "no updates or support" warnings that I keep reading about have any downside really, if I'm not connected to the internet, and just doing simple things?
Any input from anyone who has done something like this or knows about this I'd appreciate... Just want to check before I set up my ideal work station (with stuff from years ago). If you have an air gap that is never broken then you may be safe (assuming there are no existing problems) as long as you don't get or install files or applications from other places. You will miss out on some of the powerful AI features and other improvements that will make complex tasks so much easier. Be sure you have a valid 3-2-1 backup strategy in place with only 1 of the 3 backups being Time Machine. CS6 is not supported by Adobe on any Mac (or PC). But it does continue to work on old Macs. What old Macs do you have that can run High Sierra?
If you have a recent Mac, CS6 is dead. CS6 is not supported by Adobe on any Mac (or PC). But it does continue to work on old Macs. What old Macs do you have that can run High Sierra? If you have a recent Mac, CS6 is dead. I'd likely be using a 2015 iMac, or a 2017 iMac Pro. Designated just for this project... I don't care what I run on it, since it's just for Adobe stuff, so your suggestion for High Sierra is greatly appreciated. CS6 is not supported by Adobe on any Mac (or PC). I use my CS6 design suite on my MacBook Pro m2. Not natively of course. Parallels windows 11 arm version. Works fine. Though resolution is tiny that can be adjusted. But eventually too many other programs just could not be updated or work well on Mojave, including MSFT Office, and even browsers like Safari. So I got a 2019 MacBook Pro A1990 (15” Intel i9 2.4GHz 8-Core 32GB Ram 2TB SSD), installed Mojave on it using an external bootable flash drive and will devote that to exclusive use of CS6 and a couple other programs that will run only on 32 bit Mac OS. Meantime I will upgrade the iMac Pro to the latest MacOS.
Not natively. In my case, I simply transferred all apps from the old computer to the new via Migration Assistant during setup, so I did not have to install anything. CS6 simply came over, and then I activated it with my serial number. (Be sure to DEACTIVATE the CS6 running on any old computer before you sell or discard it, do not simply wipe the hard drive. However, as far as I know, the Adobe direct links for download of CS6 on the Adobe site itself will download the installer but then give an error when you try to install. "Installer failed to initialize. There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. For me, Adobe CS6 (boxed version) runs best on macOS Sierra 10.12.x (MBP 2015) and on OS X 10.9.x (MBP 2012) . On macOS 10.14.x (MBP 2019) it works, but there are some quirks. Internet connection is not a problem. So far, Adobe didn't lock working CS apps. Updates are not working anymore like in 2012 through the dedicated updater app. The only way to update, is updating manually with stand-alone installers to the latest (non CC) versions. If installers don't execute, one can Show the package contents… in contextual menu and run the installers directly in Terminal. I guess Adobe activation servers are down for a long time, that might be the biggest hurdle to get CS6 installed and not just transferred from an already activated version.
Hello again! How are you this fine day? My week has been rough and busy. Because of my business, I couldn’t post some of the tutorials that are always running around in my head. So for tonight, I will be paying my debt with this sweet tips for beginners out there who have always wanted a photoshop in their macbook / imac. So, what are we waiting for? Happy reading!
Adobe photoshop is the very famous program for PC / laptops to help us create something unordinary. What it said on wikipedia is, “it is de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word “photoshop” has become a verb as in “to photoshop an image,” “photoshopping,” and “photoshop contest,” etc. Until now, Adobe Photoshop has published a lot of version to its program. The newest version is Adobe Photoshop CC which is kind of like the extended version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 (extended) hahaha. Many people don’t really see the difference of those two versions. 🙂 Basically Adobe Photoshop CC has all the features on Adobe Photoshop CS6, but Adobe Photoshop CC has the new features of a Creative Cloud. The Creative Cloud features allow you to work real time like Google Docs or Google Forms on Google Drive. I, Salsabila Athaya Zahra, myself uses Adobe Photoshop CS6 on my macbook and it works really fine. I’ve worked with Adobe Photoshop CS6 too on windows and it works as fine as well. My dear friend is using Adobe Photoshop CC on her laptop and I think it is really cool (though I still prefer Adobe Photoshop CS6 as well). If you are going to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 or Adobe Photoshop CC legally a.k.a. with money, then you have to compare those two with their money value. Adobe Photoshop CS6 costs a lot more, but you only need to pay for it once. If you are going to install Adobe Photoshop CC or Adobe Photoshop CS6 illegally a.k.a. free, then you have no reason to compare because you will work nicely with both. Note that Adobe Photoshop CC works online. Though, I will give you the tutorial to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CC on a macbook so you should not be worried!

Why CS6 Might Still Be Useful in Offline Setups
CS6 can still run on older Macs, especially when air-gapped or offline. This setup preserves familiar workflows and avoids ongoing subscription costs, while highlighting the trade-offs of newer Creative Cloud features. Some users report that updating and activation servers might be down, but offline transfers and manual installers can keep critical workflows alive.

Practical Considerations for an Offline CS6 Environment
- Use a separate machine or a dedicated partition to isolate CS6 from online threats and updates.
- Maintain a validated 3-2-1 backup strategy with one offline and two additional copies.
- Deactivate CS6 licenses before transferring between machines to avoid activation conflicts.
- Prefer macOS versions known to have better compatibility with CS6 (e.g., Sierra or High Sierra) if hardware constraints exist.
Notes on Legal and Ethical Use
The text discusses both legitimate licensing and piracy concerns. It is important to obtain software legally and respect licensing terms. Pirated software can expose systems to malware, instability, and lack of official support.
